Smooth is a single extrusion and a super heavyweight 40mm tube. This means minimal deflection over wider widths and longer drops. It is decelrated, really light and smooth to operate.
When operating the blinds, the smooth system is quieter and reduces chain noise compared to other systems that you can get on the market. It also reduces bouncing when operating and we use a larger pole to stop any waving and puckering.
We have over 50 different fabrics to choose from in our sample book. Darker and Lighter colours available. With Grey, White and Darker colours being the favourite choices.
Fabric is very important. The mesh needs to be tightly woven to make a good blind, cheaper fabrics with a loose or wide mesh will always create problems due to cheap production and movement between the panels. Duple is from the worlds best manufacturers and all weaves are tight. All are OEKO-TEX accredited.
These blinds are like roller blinds except they use one continuous piece of fabric with horizontal sections to give you different moods. When you rotate the fabric without putting the blinds fully up, you can have privacy or enjoy a bit of sun.
Depending on what kind of setting you have the blinds on yes. They also allow you to have a frosted type of effect and a completely blocking effect to stop you seeing through, like a roller blind.
Entirely the choice of the customer. Day & Night blinds fit well in most rooms, with bedrooms, living rooms and kitchens being a popular choice.
Grey, White, and Darker colours tend to be the most popular given what is in fashion with interior design at the moment.
