In contrast, fly screens for sliding patio doors use large single-span lateral pleated mesh systems or dedicated parallel sliding tracks engineered with heavy-duty tension cords to span expansive glass widths up to 6 metres.

Bespoke fly screens for French doors are custom-fabricated with a dual-part meeting system. A slim powder-coated aluminium cassette is mounted on each side jamb of the doorway reveal. When drawn together, both pleated mesh wings latch securely in the centre via a full-length magnetic strip.

Sliding patio doors feature large, continuous panes of glass (often spanning 2 to 6 metres wide). A bespoke patio door screen uses a single-span lateral pleated glide system with heavy-duty Kevlar tension cords running horizontally through the mesh folds.

The screen parks discreetly against the wall jamb or fixed glass mullion in a slim 45mm housing.
