Yes. Cross Blinds & Shutters provides product advice, professional measuring, supply and fitting for made-to-measure blinds and suitable shutters throughout Falkirk and nearby communities.

Is the Falkirk home survey free?

Yes. Our Falkirk home survey is free and carries no obligation to order. We bring suitable samples, measure your windows and prepare a quotation based on your selected products and specifications.

How much do made-to-measure blinds cost in Falkirk?

The cost depends on the window dimensions, selected product, material, controls and fitting requirements. We provide an itemised, no-obligation quotation following your free Falkirk home survey.

Which areas around Falkirk do you cover?

Our measuring and fitting service covers Falkirk, Larbert, Polmont, Stenhousemuir, Camelon, Brightons, Bonnybridge, Grangemouth, Maddiston and surrounding communities.

How long will my blinds take?

Production and fitting times vary according to the product, specification and current manufacturing schedule. We will confirm the estimated timescale before you place your order.

Can you fit blinds and shutters to bay windows and glazed doors?

Yes, subject to the window or door configuration. During the survey, we assess the angles, frames, handles, opening sections and fitting clearances before recommending a suitable system.

What plantation shutter styles are available in Falkirk?

Available configurations may include full-height, cafe-style and tier-on-tier shutters. The most suitable arrangement depends on the window shape, room, privacy requirements and preferred appearance.

Do blackout blinds make a bedroom completely dark?

Blackout fabric prevents light from passing through the material, but conventional blinds may allow some light around the edges. We can assess your window and recommend the most suitable option for the level of room darkening required.

Yes. We bring relevant fabric, colour, slat and finish samples so that you can compare suitable options in your own room and lighting conditions.

Made-to-Measure Day & Night Blinds in Falkirk

Day & Night blinds provide flexible light filtering and privacy through alternating sheer and opaque fabric bands. Adjusting how the bands overlap allows you to reduce the view through the window or let more daylight enter without raising the entire blind.

Their contemporary appearance can work particularly well in living rooms, kitchens, home offices and street-facing rooms. Cross Blinds & Shutters supplies, measures and professionally fits made-to-measure Day & Night blinds throughout Falkirk, Larbert, Polmont, Camelon and nearby areas.

During your home survey, we can show you available colours and fabrics and explain the operating options suitable for your windows. Day & Night blinds are designed primarily for adjustable light and privacy control; they should not be presented as providing complete blackout.

Made-to-Measure Blackout Blinds in Falkirk

Cross Blinds & Shutters supplies and professionally fits made-to-measure blackout blinds throughout Falkirk, Larbert, Polmont, Camelon, Grangemouth and surrounding areas. They are a practical choice for bedrooms, nurseries, guest rooms, media rooms and homes where shift workers need better daytime light control.

Depending on your windows and our current ranges, suitable options may include blackout Roller blinds, lined Roman blinds and selected Perfect Fit or honeycomb systems. During your free home survey, we will explain which systems are available and help you compare their appearance, operation and expected level of room darkening.

A blackout fabric prevents light from passing directly through the material. However, conventional blinds can still allow some light around their edges. The amount of room darkening therefore depends on the blind system, window recess and fitting method. Where stronger light control is required, we can discuss suitable fitting arrangements and any compatible cassette or side-channel options currently available.

Every blind is made to the confirmed window measurements and professionally installed. We will bring relevant fabric samples to your Falkirk appointment, assess the window and provide a no-obligation quotation.
